Beau is now two years and four months old. He is gaining confidence and is full of energy. He seriously hardly ever acts tired. He not only talks now but has also began to constantly ask questions - Who's that lady? What's he doing? What's that? Where are we going? Can we go to ......?, etc. With two curious boys in the car with me now I hardly ever try to listen to a song unless it is a song all three of us can sing along too. Beau seems very music savvy like Louie. They both are very good at learning and retaining tunes.

Beau is the kind of child where if he is quiet you HAVE to check on him! His favorite things to do are to read, stack blocks, swing, go to Costco, and go to Stroller Strides/take walks. If he is left alone watch out because he will not choose a book then! This weekend he flooded the kitchen sink (I did not even know he knew how to use the stopper), filled up two cups of water out of the toilet (one for me and one for him- YUCK!), brought in a sand bucket full of stink bugs, etc....
We are having a very hard time keeping Beau dressed lately. I did not make a big deal of his wanting to be "Naked Boy" (this is what he calls himself) but now that he is constantly wanting to be "naked boy" and it is a bit chilly it is getting frustrating!
When Beau was a baby he would scream in the car if he could not see me. We were very excited when he turned one and we could have him face forward. Today, he does great with car rides and loves to get out of the house and socialize. He still wants someone he knows well and trust by his side but has become a very fun and social little boy!
I have had some inquiries as to why Beau's smile is crooked. He has a condition called Isolated Asymmetric Crying Face. Isolated because the only symptom he has is the absence of a muscle in his lower right lip which makes it so his lower right lip does not move. Over 80% of children with this condition have other abnormalities/hearts defects. Beau had an echo-cardiogram and has a healthy heart :@)!
