We embarked on our summer vacation within days of the school year ending. We started in beautiful San Diego, CA. The above picture was taken at Sunset Cliff in Point Loma.
We spent two nights on a sailboat boat and the boys loved it (all three of them). Keith spent some time dreaming about retirement and owning his own sailboat. Louie and Beau each caught a sea bass off the back of the boat.
We met up with my friend (of 21 years), Kelly, and her family. We hiked at Torrey Pines and had a picnic on the beach. The above picture is of Beau mourning the loss of a dead dolphin that had washed up on the beach.

It was a very cool day but the kids wanted to splash around in the ocean. At first they were just splashing, but eventually Beau and Louie were soaked from head to toe! Beau lost his balance and supposedly Louie tripped on a rock ;o).
