Baby Birds

We had the above wreath on our front door as an Easter decoration when a bird made a nest and laid four eggs. I certainly could not take it down, so we patiently waited for the babies to hatch. It was fun to listen to the babies screeching for food, and to see their tiny beaks sticking out the the nest for weeks. Eventually the babies were quite big (like the below photo) and spent their days looking out into the world. All four flew away on our moving day, and we are happy to report that the entire family discovered that we only moved across the street and visit us/our bird feeder daily!
