Well, take two with a new dog is going much better. Little Thor was not a match due to his hating everyone outside of our direct family :o(. It was a tough experience to have Thor for 11 days and then say goodbye, but Keith kept on looking for our canine family member. Basco was in a foster home within two miles of my sister house and after a half hour visit at a near by doggie park we decided to bring him home!
We were told that Basco is an Australian Sheperd/Great Pyrenees Mix so he will get biggger. He came to us fully potty trained, walks pretty well on a leash, loves everyone, is a quick learner, and has such a darling face and ears!
He is wonderful but does eat things. Example of what was found in one pile of poo today - a lizard, a nerf dart, and a balloon!
