Beau turned six this past Saturday and we had a fun-filled week to celebrate! The boys love the Anthem Park so we stopped there and Beau and I rode the train while Keith and Louie played catch.
Beau opened a couple of gifts, one of which was new underwear that he modeled over his shorts while skipping in the park :o).
We stayed at the Arizona Grand and had lots of pool time. There was lazy river, water slides, wave pool, kiddie pool, etc. Louie's favorite was was playing water volleyball.
We went for dinner at Lo-Lo's. It was a small dive in central phoenix that is actually very popular for their chicken and waffles. Yes, the chicken and waffles are sold together like hamburger and fries would be. It was strange and delicious!
While we waited to be seated Beau grabbed their broom and put himself to work. He now says this is where he wants to work when he grows up. He plans to work at Lo-Lo's and sweep the rocks off their sidewalk. Oh what big dreams our Beauster has!
We ended the evening with cupcakes at the hotel and a late night swim!
